I’m pretty sure that my credit score used to be under 500. Yikes.

How do I know? I don’t to tell you the truth. What I do know is that the first time I checked my credit, it was around 520. I also know that I had been working on improving it for about six months when I checked it. It’s very likely that it was under 500 at one time. I’m guessing that it was about 450 but I don’t know for sure.

Am I really a Dr.? Not a chance. In fact, I don’t have a college degree. What I do have is a passion for finances and a lot of experience with credit and credit scores. I now have a credit score that’s above 800 which means it’s likely that I have improved my score by more than 300 points. I hereby award myself a doctorate in improving credit scores from the college of ‘My Mortgage Interest Rate Is Awesome’.

I really hope that I can help you out. Learning about credit is an interesting process. It took me a long time to really get it figured out and even longer to improve mine. It won’t change overnight, that just isn’t how it works. This site will teach you what matters but it’s on you to make the necessary changes. Good luck and please let me know if you have any questions!
